The
purpose of the CID of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of
REALTORS®
is to unite those persons engaged in the recognized branches of the
real estate profession, to give an equal voice to all members, to
provide a facility for education, research and the exchange of
information for those engaged in the real estate industry, to raise
the standards of real estate practice, to preserve the rights of
property ownership in the interest of the public welfare, to promote
and maintain high standards of conduct in the transaction of the
real estate business, to inform the public of the advantages of
transacting business with REALTORS®, and to encourage the
promotion of the REALTORS® professional image.
Membership in the REALTOR® organization may be thought of as
a house sheltering the members inside. Within that structure are
many benefits designed to assist you in expanding and protecting
your business interests. The foundation of the house is our local
Association. Among many other benefits, we provide the networking
opportunities to share mutual challenges and successes in our
profession. As one of more than approximately 1,000,000 REALTORS®
across the nation, you have access to a wealth of information,
education and resources.
